Profile

Welcome to the homepage of the Control and Computer Systems Research Group (CCSRG). We are one of the 9 (nine) research groups at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The research group is presently led by Prof. Carmadi Machbub. The group research focuses on control theory, applications and real-time implementation, modeling & simulation, intelligent systems and robotics.

The Control and Computer Systems Research Group at ITB was founded in 70’s to address the rather new area of control and computer systems, which had in the mid 1960s received a great deal of attention. Since 1970s, control systems and computer have been increasingly taught in years 2 to 4 of the undergraduate and years 1-2 of Master degree course at ITB. Recently CCSRG has founded Advanced Robotics Research Laboratory. CCSRG is now home to 11 (eleven) Faculty members and some 30 Master and Doctorate students.

CCSRG is particularly proud of the quality of education, strong research activities and link with industries by providing consultancies, training, prototyping and designing products in the area of control, computer, simulation, mechatronics and robotics.

CCSRC is working closely with Robotics Research Laboratory, Control and Computer Systems Laboratory and Center for Unmanned Systems Studies.
